I wanted to do as well as I could and I was just hoping for a podium when I woke up this morning.&#8221; <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Grenier finished fourth in the flip with a first-run time of 56.90 seconds, over half a second slower than Petra Vlhova.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">After Vlhova faltered in the second run, the Canadian took the lead and posted an incredible 53.61 to win the gold.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I was pretty mad at myself for the mistakes in the first run,&#8221; stated Grenier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">&#8220;I wanted the win after that because I was so annoyed.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Federica Brignone of Italy won bronze, and Lara Gut-Behrami of Switzerland took home the silver medal.
