The guard led his club to a sixth straight win and its fourth in five games versus Milwaukee this season with 31 points and 12 assists. The Bucks play the San Antonio Spurs, and the Pacers play the Atlanta Hawks next.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Indiana Pacers defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 142-130 to win their fifth straight game, led once again by Tyrese Haliburton.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For the 18th time this season, the all-star guard finished with at least 20 points and double digits in assists. He finished the game with 31 points and 12 assists.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Bucks led by 68-66 at the half, but the Pacers’ third-quarter onslaught put them out of reach. Indiana now has a 4-1 season record against Milwaukee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haliburton urged his side to play more consistently in the same manner against the Bucks after the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Haliburton stated, “I think as a young group when you play good teams, you want to be as prepared for them as you can.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“However, I believe that maintaining this level of competition and excitement for games other than Bucks games is a necessary component of this group’s development.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

With 26 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, Giannis Antetokounmpo continued his impressive streak. Damian Lillard and Khris Middleton contributed 23 and 19 points, respectively, to the Milwaukee cause.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

However, none of them could stop the Indiana Pacers, who won the third quarter 47\u201329 to take a 113\u201397 lead that was impossible to overcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the fourth quarter, the Bucks got as close as 10 points, but the Pacers held on to win the game.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In other news, the Sacramento Kings held off the Orlando Magic to win 138\u2013135 in double overtime. A triple-double (21\u201322\u201323) was achieved by Domantas Sabonis, and Malik Monk added 37 points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The New Orleans Pelicans defeated the Minnesota Timberwolves for the second time in a row, while the New York Knicks defeated the Chicago Bulls.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Miami Heat, LeBron James’ previous team, easily defeated the Los Angeles Lakers 110-96, despite James scoring just 12 points. The Lakers, who are currently ranked 10th in the Western Conference, suffered their eighth loss in a row.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
