Real Madrid<\/a>‘s 23-year-old Brazilian winger, Vinicius Junior<\/a>, expressed strong opinions on Twitter regarding a recent incident during the Serie A match between Milan<\/a> and Udinese on January 20.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the 35th minute of the match, the game was halted due to racist remarks directed at Devils goalkeeper Mike Maignan<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinicius tweeted the following message: “Just talking won’t change anything.” These are Maignan’s words. It’s time to incarcerate racists so they can face the consequences of their actions and feel shame for who they are.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“I appreciate those genuinely supporting our fight and lament those who only use empty words to seek sympathy from the media,” Vinicius added.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Vinicius himself has been a target of racist abuse on multiple occasions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
