Al-Nassr forward and Senegal national team player Sadio Mané reportedly married 18-year-old Aisha Tamba in a private ceremony in Dakar on January 7th, according to the Daily Mail. The intimate event was attended by relatives, close friends, and Mané’s football colleagues.

Sources indicate that Mané met his now-wife when she was 16, the legal age of consent in Senegal. Reportedly, Mané sought a partner who excelled in prayer and avoided interactions with other men.

Earlier, Mané had inaugurated a stadium in his hometown of Bambali, Senegal. In January, he is set to participate in the African Cup of Nations with the Senegal national team, facing Gambia on January 15th.
