Italian football club Benevento’s president, Oreste Vigorito, has compared the club’s new coach, Matteo Andreoletti, to former Shakhtar Donetsk coach Roberto De Zerbi. De Zerbi previously led Benevento in 2017-18 before moving to Sassuolo. Vigorito praised Andreoletti’s character and determination despite his young age, calling him “born as a coach.” At just 34, Andreoletti is the youngest head coach in Italian professional football. Benevento was relegated to Italy’s third division after last season’s campaign. Meanwhile, De Zerbi is now coaching English Premier League club Brighton.<\/p>\n

Roberto De Zerbi led Benevento from 2017 to 2018, after which he moved to Sassuolo. In the first part of the 2021\/22 season, the Italian specialist worked as the head coach of Shakhtar Donetsk.<\/p>\n

Benevento president Oreste Vigorito compared his team’s new coach Matteo Andreoletti to De Zerbi.<\/p>\n

“He reminds me of De Zerby, he seems to be born as a coach. He already has a good enough character despite his young age and is very determined. He told me that he felt like he was living the dream,” said Vigorito in an interview with Il Sannio newspaper.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n
