FONBET, a Russian betting company, has launched a project called “#GOLOSFONBETKHL Fan Studio” during the Kontinental Hockey League’s (KHL) 15th anniversary season. The project involves a special studio installed in the hockey arena where league matches are held, where fans can record chants in support of their favourite team. Studios in three cities work regularly, while another moves across Russia and works on matches in several other cities. Every week, KHL and FONBET award the most high-profile and original authors, and at the end of the season, the results of the project are published. Gleb, a Dynamo Moscow fan, became the loudest.
During the KHL’s 15th anniversary season, betting company FONBET launched a project – “#GOLOSFONBETKHL Fan Studio”. In the hockey arena where League matches are held, a special studio is installed where everyone can record chants in support of their favorite team. Studios in three cities (in Omsk, Ufa and Magnitogorsk) work regularly, another one moves across Russia and works on matches in St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, Yekaterinburg and Yaroslavl. Every week, KHL and FONBET award the most high-profile and original authors, and at the end of the season, the results of the project are published. Gleb, Dynamo Moscow fans, became the loudest, and Omsk, the loudest city, overtook Ufa, who had been the leader all season.
The melody of the song is built entirely on the sounds recorded on the ice rink during matches and practices: spinning, sharpening skates, hitting boards, clicking sticks and players shouting. The second part of the composition is the noise of the seats that synergizes with the singing recorded at Fan Studios last season. The project was created by creative communications agency Blacklight and music agency Fancy State.which attracted a group of producers, artists and musicians from three countries. Two of them, music artist CHESS and producer R17, are also featured in the video, which shows part of the song’s creation process.
